Gen-G is a inter-cultural, global movement focused on instilling values of biblical generosity in children and youth. Our goal is to make it easy for children to learn about being generous in a way that fits their culture and beliefs. Many parents and children’s ministry leaders have trouble finding free materials about generosity for kids in their language that also match their context.

We want to help by giving these materials to parents and leaders everywhere, so they can teach kids about generosity in a way that is fun and memorable.

Gen-G is built on biblical principles of generosity such as:

• God’s generosity started in Genesis
• Jesus: God’s greatest gift

• God provides enough
• God sees our hearts

We try to teach children and youth in age-appropriate ways about what we call the “Five Seeds of Generosity”. These are seeds a leader or parent sow into the lives of God’s children, giving them opportunity to grow in their hearts and minds.

Gen-G freely provides resources, including videos, experiences, games, animations, and more, designed to teach children about the joy of giving.

These resources can be used in churches, homes, schools, and other settings where children gather.

Gen-G is designed for children aged 6-12 years, and teens aged 13-17, with a focus on learning strengths and experiential learning.

The primary audiences include parents, children's ministry leaders, teachers, and assistants.

Gen-G was inspired by the recognition that children are often exposed to consumerist values. The movement aims to counteract this by nurturing a generation of generous givers, guided by biblical principles.

We want to heal the world through our giving. Our dream is to live generously because Jesus gave so generously. Throughout Scripture we see that God gave us so much. He gave us the breath of life (Genesis…), a beautiful creation (Genesis…), the Bible (A lamp unto our feet…), He gave us His life, eternal life through his resurrection (Matthew), gifts, His Spirit, and He gave us the promise that He would return to share eternity with us. His generous gifts are everywhere, and when children discover the adventure of generous living, they grow up to become adults who heal the world through their giving.

It’s an adventure! Our approach is centered around three pivotal elements:

• GGG: Gather, Game, Give. We gather children together, anywhere children gather, we guide participants through the Gather, Game, Give framework. With every topic, we facilitate a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
• As we explore God's generosity, self-reflection, and care for our neighbours, each element of Gather, Game, Give contributes to a well-rounded understanding of the transformative power of generosity.

This experience is just the beginning of the journey. After one Gen-G Experience families, children and leaders often discover the deep joy of giving, and want to do more.

We currently have nine experiences focused around God, ourselves and others. You can repeat the same experience with friends or choose a different one every week or month.

Each Gen-G Keystone Experience is crafted to last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Presently, we have nine distinct keystone experiences, each weaving seamlessly into the larger tapestry of understanding God's generous heart for us, His children.

The Keystone Experience is carefully crafted for children aged 6-12, embracing diverse learning strengths to create an engaging and contextualised experience.

This experience can take place within church settings, homes, gatherings with friends, or any space where children come together. Best of all, anyone can host a Gen-G Experience, you don’t need special training.

No, you can give time, kindness and compassion, encouragement, talents or skills, or anything that God leads you to give to someone.
